Privacy notes
Plain-English notes on what this website does with your information.
Camera and photos in the AI visualizer
The visualizer runs entirely in your browser. Your camera feed and photos are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us or anyone else. To work, your browser downloads the AI engine and model files from public content networks (jsDelivr and Hugging Face), which may log ordinary request information such as your IP address.
Quote form
When you send the quote form, your name, contact details, message and any photos are delivered to us through our website host, Netlify (Netlify Forms). We use them only to respond to your request.
Ask the Painter (AI)
Questions you type are sent to our AI provider to generate an answer. To limit misuse we count questions per visitor per day using an anonymous one-way hash; we don't store your IP address or your questions. Please don't include personal information in questions.
Open Bid Board
If you check “OK to post my job anonymously for open bidding” on the estimate form, we may post your job's town, type of work, scope, size, timeline and our bid on the Open Bid Board. We never post your name, street address, phone or email. Ask us any time to take it down. Contractors who bid give us their company and contact details; those are stored with our host (Netlify) and seen only by us, except bid amounts (and company names, if we turn that on for a job), which may be shown publicly.
Project photos
Photos in our project feed and gallery are posted by us. They show the town and the type of work, not client names or street addresses.
